WOmen in digital work program

We’re thrilled to announce that we’re a community partner for SPARK Deakin’s ‘Women in Digital Work Program’.

This is a little different from our usual one-off events, but we can’t pass up such a great opportunity to support culturally and linguistically diverse women.

What’s the program about?

The Women in Digital Work Program is a six-week deep dive into working out exactly what you need to do to take an existing skill set and bring it into the digital world. It’s designed specifically for migrant and culturally and linguistically diverse women who are living in Australia, and women of colour and BIPOC are strongly encouraged to apply.

The program exists to provide a safe online space to explore the process of starting a digital business, help you to transfer your existing skills into a new way to earn money, and connect with a community of supporters, mentors and other like-minded women

The best bit is that it is FULLY FUNDED, so if you want to find out :

  • What is covered in the course content for six weeks?
  • Whether you are eligible to apply?
  • And how to get the application process rolling?

Head on over to SPARK Deakin’s website to learn more. Expressions of Interest opened on May 3 and will close on Sunday May 23.  PSST.  After you send in the EOI you will be prompted through a simple application process that won’t take more than 10 mins to complete.

You’ll find out if your application was successful on May 27, 2021 and then we will gently warm up with some pre-course work before kicking off officially on June 8, 2021.

As always, if you have any questions – shoot us an email or send us a DM on Instagram.

If you think you know someone who would LOVE this program then we would be so chuffed if you could share it with them.
